Lake 22 km long and 11 km wide, 975 meters above
sea level is the Jewel of Shan State famous for its scenic Beauty,
floating villages and unique leg-rowing of the Inthas, the native lake
dwellers. From Nyaung shwe, speed boats will take you to the Serenity Inle within 45 minutes. |

 The Serenity Inle Hotel is situated on the north eastern
bank of Inle Lake surrounded by Shan Hills. Individual bungalows are
built on stilts over the lake with private boat-yard. Standard rooms are
located in the bamboo garden with surrounding forest. Accessible to all
places of interest; Ywama Village for its floating market, the ancient
Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the famous Alotaw Pauk Pagoda, Maing Thauk market
for local products and Nam Pan market for silver-jewelleries & silk
wearing mills among many places.
